Executive Summary

The name of my project is ‘A picture is a thousand words’. I have chosen this name because I think we learn faster and clearer from video instruction manuals compared to written manuals. We learn faster through video recordings because it allows us to use all our senses in comparison to written manuals, which only rely on learning through one sense. The main objective of the project is to see if this theory works in the commercial world while looking into the idea that farmers learning preferences may differ from other commercial work forces. My first stage was to use the Vark questionnaire to see what learning preference farmers had.
