Executive Summary

The aim of the report is to provide an introduction to the factors which go to make up the landscape of Waipukurau township. The physical, visual, social and cultural aspects are introduced. The report is the result of a visual survey, research into physical and cultural factors and a telephone survey of the elderly care givers, child care givers and representatives of physically disabled, who use the amenities in the town. The research is preliminary and further work would need to be undertaken before acting on information contained in this report.
