Rural Leaders, The Board of Trustees, and Nuffield New Zealand were saddened to learn of the passing of Morris (1970 Nuffield Scholar). We offer our deepest condolences to his family.
Born 7 January 1935, Morris passed away peacefully on 8 June at Tauranga Hospital aged 91.
Born in 1935, Morris grew up on a farm in Te Awamutu and began his working life in dairy farming before building McFall Fuel from a small local operation into one of New Zealand’s leading fuel logistics providers.
Morris completed his Nuffield in 1970, looking into intensive dairying in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Canada, USA.

Morris’ funeral service was held today at Legacy Tauranga, 383 Pyes Pa Road Tauranga, on Monday, 15 June 2026 at 1.30pm followed by private cremation.
